The http://www.AmericanRetiredSenior.com website was created to offer senior citizens and retirees a means of obtaining resources on a host of issues we all face. As a retired American, a Viet Nam veteran, a God believing citizen with a son in the US military; I wanted to be proactive in creating a place which provides practical ideas and solutions we face as we get older. As one who has gone through the medical system in dealing with a tumor a few years ago, I have firsthand experience in dealing with what can be an overwhelming medical environment in this country.
As seniors I believe we are Americas’ greatest natural resource and that our children are Americas’ greatest hope. I also believe ‘laughter is the best medicine’. ‘Life isn’t as much about how to survive the storm but how to dance in the rain.’
Ancestory – My maternal ancestors can be traced by to the 1730s in New York and New Jersey, moving to Virginia, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Texas.
My paternal ancestors hailed from England as far back as 1066 where he served as a Captain to William the Conqueror, down through Virginia, Tennessee and Texas.
